All our adoptable dogs are spay-neutered, up to date on vaccinations, fully vetted ,dewormed and heartworm negative and microchipped. Adoption fee $150. Senior dogs $75.  Cats are $65. If you are out of our service area you are responsible for transport and any related fees.

Mowgli is an approx. 2 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix that weighs about 59 lbs. He is Neutered, UTD on shots and heartworm negative.  Mowgli is potty trained, kennel/crate trained and is great with people, kids and other dogs, cats unknown.  Mowgli is a sweet, playful baby that loves to go on walks (walks well on a leash), playing with his toys and cuddling! He has no issue with taking food from your hand or moving his food/bowl. In his prior home before he was surrendered to the shelter (family difficulties) he lived with a small child and a teenager and used to jog with his prior owner.

Mowgli was an owner surrender to Aiken Co Animal Shelter (due to family difficulties), heartworm positive and on death row, where HeartBeat then rescued him and then treated him for heartworms!

Mowgli is currently living with a foster home and looking for his forever home!
