All our adoptable dogs are spay-neutered, up to date on vaccinations, fully vetted ,dewormed and heartworm negative and microchipped. Adoption fee $150. Senior dogs $75.  Cats are $65. If you are out of our service area you are responsible for transport and any related fees.

Rue is an adorable 5-6 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix with little white feet and a matching white 'bib', who weighs approximately 44 lbs.  She is spayed, UTD on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. This sweet pea is potty trained, kennel/crate trained, is GREAT with people, and good with some dogs, cats unknown. Rue is a snuggle bunny with low-medium energy that wants nothing more than a loving family to cuddle her and squeeze her.  A hip injury as a pup resulted in one leg being shorter than the other three, but she isn't in any pain and she doesn't have any problems going on walks or short adventures. (Rue has had her leg checked out by three vets, one of them being a Physical Therapy Specialist and they all agree that she does not require surgery or continuing medical attention).

When you meet Rue, her eyes will melt your heart. They say, I will love you always, which is just what she wants to do!

Rue was heartworm positive at Aiken Co Animal Shelter where HeartBeat then rescued her and then treated her for heartworms!

Rue is currently living with a foster home and looking for her forever home!

Rue's adoption fee is $100 and is available for adoption via Shelter Animals Advocates.
