All our adoptable dogs are spay-neutered, up to date on vaccinations, fully vetted ,dewormed and heartworm negative and microchipped. Adoption fee $150. Senior dogs $75.  Cats are $65. If you are out of our service area you are responsible for transport and any related fees.

Buddha is an adorable 2-3 year old Boxer/American Bulldog mix that weighs approximately 65 lbs. Buddha is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped and UTD on shots. This loveable lug is potty trained, kennel/crate trained, good with dogs, cats, nice pigs/farm animals, and is great with people of all shapes and sizes (including children). Buddha lives to cuddle and will spend all available opportunities doing just that! He is a lap puppy and a great nap partner! But don't let all this laying around fool you, Buddha also loves going on walks and adventures and just adores riding around in the car! Buddha was at Aiken County Animal Shelter where he had been brought after he had been viciously attacked by a pack of dogs. Their Adoption Coordinator brought Buddha to our attention as soon as she realized how bad off he was. We took him to our vet, where he received stitches and medicine for all of his infections. Poor Buddha had stitches in 3 legs, his ear, his back and his neck and had infections in his eye, ear and legs and additional lacerations on his bottom and his tongue. After Buddha healed from all that, he still had to go through heartworm treatment! Now, he is a happy, healthy puppy who is all in one piece and heartworm negative! He is amazingly friendly with everything and everyone he meets, which is amazing considering what a rough road he has had. Buddha is currently living in a foster home while he waits on his forever home. He is available for adoption via Shelter Animals Advocates for a $100 adoption fee.
