Dog To Dog Introduction
If you are considering adopting a dog from us, we like to make sure all family members (including furry ones) are all on board!
We want adoptions to be a success for all.
If your dog is social and already gets along with other dogs, then the meeting should be easy. We want each interaction for everyone to be positive.
Please keep in mind many of our dogs have gone through Heart Worm treatment.
This means they have been kept quiet for 30 plus days.....Can you imagine.... other than Kennel staff and a Kong chew that is it for a month. So meeting a new dog can put our dogs in 'over excitement' mode ... they are LIKE 'Yeah' jumping up and down doing the Snoopy kick up. Come to the meeting with patience as we want your dog and our dog to make sure they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
We take this part very seriously.
When you request a meet with one of our dogs, especially if you already have a dog, we will send you a Dog to Dog intro list. Please read it carefully so you are on board and aware of the steps we will take during the meet to ensure this adoption is a success for all.
